About
The Doctors’ Handbook (TDH) is a small, non-profit medical education organisation run by resident doctors for resident doctors. We focus on bringing you the information that is relevant at 4am during a nightshift on call whilst your bleep is going off non-stop. No faff, no waffle - just the information you need.
We run a 9-part course for final year medical students at GKT during their Transition to FY1 (TTf1) block, as well as providing ongoing resources for junior doctors more widely.
Around 90% of our focus is on clinical education, however we are also committed to ensuring that junior doctors are aware of their legal and contractual rights at work - especially regarding issues such as pay, overtime, annual leave, safe working conditions, workplace bullying, harassment & discrimination, education & training opportunities.
